Sam Burrows is an acoustic singer/songwriter hailing from South Manchester.
Nowadays, Sam plays at numerous weddings and events throughout the year and has even played on the beautiful Fistral beach in Cornwall during the Quiksilver British Surf Championships.
However, it is in Cheshire and the surrounding areas that Sam has predominantly built his summer following, playing at various venues and weddings, whilst also securing gigs at fashionable bars and popular live music venues. A quick demonstration of his musical ability and some charm from his witty personality sees bar managers snapping his hands off to play.
During the winter (when not teaching skiing), Sam plays in a duo with fellow musician and ski instructor, Pat Cahill. They play in many of the coolest alpine bars during lively après ski sessions, ensuring that they get the whole bar singing along whilst also consuming a few mulled wines after a hard day’s skiing on the mountain.
Through his motivation, determination and his gift for talking, Sam has created a large fan base. Playing an eclectic mix of contemporary and classic acoustic songs, Sam manages to capture the attention of any audience.
Whether it is a classic by Rod Stewart, Elvis or the Beatles or something a little more modern by Bruno Mars, Paulo Nutini or the Kings of Leon, Sam’s ability to mix both stylistic covers and heart felt self-penned tracks always gives a convincing performance. You can’t help but singing along or humming the tunes on your way home.
